Who were the parents, wife and children of Daniel Stewart, a leader of the old Shady Grove Methodist Church in Newberry Co. SC before (or when) it merged with Trinity?

Daniel Stewart of Newberry SC (1776-1864) married Sarah Edmundson (1786-1840). She descended from early Quaker leaders. Daniel's father was William Stewart, who died about 1795 in Newberry SC having moved there apparently from VA. I descend through their child William (1809-1849). I would like to learn more about these people. I cannot seem to find the history of Shady Grove/Trinity Methodist and would like to find that. Sara Jane Overstreet, sjoverstreet@bellsouth.net
