Do you know whether the original record would have more information, such as whether both individuals were from the parish or from a different one?

well, in theory, yes it should say BUT, "of this parish" would only actually mean they had lived there for a minimum of three weeks (for Banns to be read) - more importantly, the witness's should be taken note of as, most likely to be relatives
