I am looking for relatives who may still be living in the Przemysl area. My Grandfather emigrated to Canada in march of 1929. Emigration papers list Przemysl as his home town. He was rumoured to have left a wife in Poland. He may have had children and I may have cousins in Przemyl. His name was Stefan Pidhirnyj- this is how his name was spelled in Polish on his passport. His baptism and confirmation papers are in Ukrainian. He spoke Ukrainian. The Baptism papers are very difficult to read.On one document I have the Powiat is listed as Przemysl and the gmina is Buszkowiszki. I cannot find this last name anywhere. What does it represent. I speak no Polish but I can read the UKrainian language. Thank-you Velda Pidhirnyj
