Do you have other surnames that connect to your Taylors? What are they, and who are they, Dates would help. Where in USA did they immigrate to, if at all.

The other names you are requesting, do you mean the names of their wife or wives in England, and the names of the wives her in the USA.

Taylor is a very common name in England and it is not confined to one area and exists all over. I find your list of relatives very hard to beleive that they can all come from the same origin.
You say that a Thomas Taylor born in Hadleigh Suffolk, 1548, had a son also Thomas, born in Hadleigh Essex, 1574. This son then travelled 300 miles north to Carlisle, Cumberland and gave birth to a son John in 1618, who presumably stayed in Carlisle as he had a son James there in 1634. However John's father had left him in Carlisle before the age of 7 and returned South not to his birthplace Hadleigh, Essex, but to his father's place of birth, Hadleigh Suffolk, where he died in 1618.
Have you first hand documentary evidence that these people are all from the same family as I know how hard it is working from just parish records to positively identify people of the same name who just travel to the next village in their lifetime, let alone the breadth of England.
Distances may not seem very far but to travel that far in those times would have taken many days even if they were rich enough to own horses if not the journey would be weeks or months. I also wonder why someone living in the South East of England would want to travel to the remote North West. Its also a little coincidence that someone Born in Hadleigh Suffolk would end up in Hadleigh Essex, although this was only a mere two days travel away.

Robesure, No I do not have documentation of this information. I am going by research of others I located on Ancestry.com and other sites. This is why I placed my request on this board in hopes that I can verify this some way or another. I realize that Taylor is a common name and there are many branches of them.As there are many branches here in the USA with most starting at arrival I beleive from memory on the Truelove. As far as the child being left at age 7 in one part of England, that does not seem as uncommon to me. It is of my understanding as here in the USA, children were left with relatives due to Rivalries or villages being taken over by other groups.I do apologize that I am not up on the England side of information as far as what one might now days call wars or tribal movement or Clan movement.I do however thank you for your response and I will take another look at the tree or trees that I obtained this information from to double check on their verificaion of information.
