Edmond Cross(e) is said to have been married to a Sarah Hind. can someone find this marriage for me? I assume it would be in Woodbridge, though whether CofE or non-conformist I do not know-my Edmond Cross and Sarah joined the Quaker faith in 1655. their first child is Peter, born 18 Aug 1647 old calender. it also may not be in Woodbridge.

thank you, that isn't my Edmond, he married a Sarah. this Edmond is too early, though he could be my Edmond's father, who knows.
I'm just trying to verify or refute the Sarah Hind. of course, being during one of the Civil Wars, it might not exist-but then, how was it found. sadly, I cannot get a response from the man who submitted the data. he is, I believe, a cousin of mine as he lists my Edmond's children. too bad he won't reply.

I realised that it was not the man you were looking for, but like you, I thought perhaps it might be his father. Framlington and Woodbridge are only about 8 miles apart.

thank you, yes, that's quite possible. I did look into Framlingham as a possibility of my Edmond's birth, and even got Edmond's will-the one you sent to me, my Edmond apparently didn't make one. but I haven't been able to prove them to be the same family. there are no Marg*'s in our family tree, so I've wondered. Edmond/Edmund is quite common in the tree.

Edmond Jr. fits with the year I have calculated for my Edmond, but how to prove they are one and the same? or to disprove it, for that matter. I don't have access to the less primary records that might link them together.
