The Sam Massengill book was published in 1931 . I was able to obtain a photocopy of it last year for $60 from Fern Cox. At that time she was not making additional copies, but I have seen information recently that she was taking orders for a final, additional "printing."

She does not have an e-mail address, but you can write her at the following address:
Mrs. Fern Cox
1809 South Elm
Broken Arrow, OK 74012

I have recently started tracing my family.
My G Grandmother was Lillie Massengill from
Claiborne County, TN and married Martin Johnson. She is the first of the Massengill's that I know of and I don't know
much about her. Could you e-mail me and let me know if she appears in this book you have? Or if you have come across her name
in your search? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Roberta:

Thank you for repling. Lillie Massengill was my g grandmother. How are you related? The information in my message is all that I have on the Massengills. I only knew them to come from TN. How far back does your book date? I have been told there is Indian blood in the Massengill Line, is this true? Would it be possible to get a copy? Any help is appreciated. Thanks again.
