GREENHALGH'S FROM BOLTON

I am trying to find any information on a certain Susannah Maria Greenhalgh. She was born in Bolton in the July Quarter of 1853. She married a Robert Grundy in Manchester in 1869. Together they had 3 children that I am aware of:- Robert, Ralph and Alice. I believe Susannah then went on to have another child, Mary, after her husband had died. Unfortunately for now that is where my knowledge dries up. Would love to hear from anyone who has any more info on this particular family. Thanks, Dave.

Maybe not related (though I think it likely) Hannah Greenhalgh (born about 1865) married Herbert Dennett Orr, my G Grandfather. Though I'm not sure exactly where they lived my g'father Harry Greenhalgh Orr later lived in a village, Little Lever, about 5 miles from Bolton. As did my father and myself before moving to Bury about 1958. I would appreciate any further connection you can supply or if I can give any other info.

I have a James Greenhalgh b. 2-1811, married Ann Rothwell (from Lancashire, England. Father was John Rothwell) in July 1837, and died in 1859. He had a son named John, who had a son named John Rothwell Greenhalgh, who was my great grandfather. He married Emma Delila Truscott, and died on 1-3-1928 of a heart attack. He was a teacher, and later, a banker. Heart attacks @ around age 50 run down the line from him. Don't know what the previous generations suffered/died from, but John Rothwell's daughter-my grandmother, and her son-my father, all had early heart attacks, and my first one was @ 42! My oldest son had extremely high blood pressure @ 28, but meds and diet brought it down-for now. Anyway, sounds like it might be the same James, but we branched out from another of his sons. if u still want to respond, email me 2 hhdfam@yahoo.com.
