I am researching the Scott Family in Jackson County. I have connected back to Ephraim Scott in 1850. I think that there were only two different Scott families in Jackson Co, so if you have info or want to know anything about the Scott, contact me. Ephraim was born in Ky between 1813 and 1817, but that is all that I have.

Yes, I would like some information on the Scott family. This is all I know right now....my grandmothers name was Alda Scott from Fairview Community in Jackson Co. TN. Her mothers name was Mandy Scott. My grandma's brother's name was Luke Scott. If you have any information on what I have mentioned, please e-mail me and let me know. Thank you.

I have some information for you on Ephrim and Tabitha. They lived in Fairview Community in Gainesboro Jackson County Tennessee. I know where Tabitha and her son Jacob and daughter Laurana also known as Rainey are all burried give me a shout. We'll compare notes. annema@twlakes.net

1932 Jackson Co, TN Death Certificate #26234
Scott, William Cornel b. 2 Feb 1868, d. 23 Dec 1932, son of Ronie Scott, Husband of Martha. Calls for burial in Scott Cemetery.
this from Jackson County, TN Cemetery Insriptions book by Larry Mabry & Reda Knight Bilbrey.

What a coincidence.....I have just started working on genealogy again after 9 years.
I have two Luke Scotts in my line. One was born in the early 1900's to Fay Scott and Fannie Lynn.
Tha other Luke was born March 1895 to Jacob Scott and Amanda Ledbetter. If any of that fits, let me know and I can give you more info.
