My line connects with the John Dalby line at his child Sarah Dalby who married Edward Bullock c 1795 in Granville County NC. Edward Bullock is the child of Micajah and Susannah Bullock. The Bullock and Dalby line connect often. Would like to compare more notes with you.

BIrthdate 1842 and Israel Dalby birthdate 1806
Am I in the right Line of Dalby's?

My ggrandmother was Almedia Dalby; the daughter of William Dalby Harriet C. Jones. From what I have been able to find, William was the son of Edward Dalby, son of Knight. Edward stayed in Tn. and that is where I am from. Almedia married Christopher Columber Foster in Shelbyville, TN on Sept. 17, 1890. She also was called Allie and that is what name is on the tombstone. The 1880 Tn census lists Wm., Harriet and a dau. Almedia age 6. I know very little about this side of the family. My grandparents talked very little about their family. I now live in Garland, TX. If you have any information on this branch I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I am looking for any information on George Dalby-his parents,siblings,etc.-who was born ca 1806 in Yorkshire England. He died in Canada in 1891 at 85 years of age. Married a Christianna ?? and had at least four children: Matthew, John, Mary Ann and Elizabeth.

I spoke to a woman named Betty Lou Jones who had done research and a Dalby newsletter for several years. She said she donated all her research to the Denver COO public Library. Unfortuantely, I think her information only went back to a Richard Dalby in America. There is some confusion as to whether this particular Dalby line is from France or England

I am descended from Knight Dalby and Ann Bullock.
I have a copy of a manuscript written by Judge N. L. Dalby.
He did extensive research on the Dalby and Bullock families.
I have reduced his information to a gedcom, and also transcribed the manuscript to Word 97 format.
Knight and Ann moved from Granville Co., NC to Bedford Co., TN in 1818.
Knight and 2 daughters died there. Ann moved with some of the surviving children to Dalby Springs, TX in 1839.
I am very interested in Toni Brown Cramer's side of the family.
Judge Dalby could not find any record of Edward's wife and children, except a census that did not include the names.
Knight's parents were John Dalby and Christian Bullock.
Johh's parents are thought to be Knightinggale and Mary Dalby.
This Knightinggale was possibly born in Ramsey Parish, Huntingdon, England in 1697.
