I am also descended from the Scotchbrooks of Ketton through my grandmother Sheila Humphries (nee Scotchbrook). er father was Sydney, whose father was George, whose father was John whose father was another John. I have also found out a little about when the Codgebrooks became the Scotchbrooks although i'm still looking into this.

I'd love to see what you have. So far I have found out that John Codgebrook born circa 1712 was married to a Ann White and their son was another John Scotchbrook. Send anything you have to my email address which is lyndseyellen@hotmail.com

My direct line in the Scotchbrook family appear to be: Richard Codgebrook 1676, John Codgebrook 1712, John Scotchbrook 1747, John 1768, William 1815 and Daniel 1858.

My question is, do you have any information on the parents of William's wife Elizabeth Joyce? (b.1819, Spalding, Lincs)
She is my 3xgrandmother and I cannot find anything online. As I live in Arizona it is is difficult for me to search elsewhere. I look forward to your reply, best, Gillian
