You have children listed from Paul and Mary Kingston.
The first is Samuel Kingston 1836. Do you have any
more info on Samuel. I believe Samuel might be my
gr grandfather. Do you know when he came over to North
America?
Please let me know what you can and I'll try and fill in
the rest as best I can.
Thank you for your help.

I have a pretty large number of Kingston lines from Drimoleague posted on my genealogy web site. My grandmother was Ellen Kingston, born in Drimoleague, daughter of Daniel, who was son of Samuel.

Hello,
I really don't know any more about this Samuel than posted. I came upon him while searching back on John. I know that John came to Onterio first then NY, don't know if he came with Samuel. KLF

Thanks for your answer. Would you have the date
of when John came over to Onterio? All I can find out
about Samuel is that he and his wife, Catherine, came to Canada
and traveled on down thru Pennsylvania, Titisville, and were there
for a few years. That's where my Grfather was born. If you
can fill in the year John came over that might help. Also
do you know the name of the ship that the Kingstons came
over on?
Thanks alot for helping. Everything else has been a dead
end.

About all I can tell you is that John Kingston married Julia Holleran in Melanchton, Onterio, Canada July 22, 1863. They later moved to Elma, NY. John died Oct 26, 1904 & was buried in Spring Brook, NY. He was catholic. His death certificate has parents name Paul Kingston and Mary Kelly. Their residence is listed Ireland, so I assume that they did not come over. (I searched backward and laterally on LDS & found Samuel, but no other siblings were entered).

I don't know exactly when or on what vessel John arrived. I tried a few sources of passenger manifests but have so far come up empty. Most of John's descendents stayed in NY area.

Thanks for your reply. I've been trying for the last
2 years to find my GrGr grandparents. If I find that
this might be our line I will send you more info.
Our Samuel was b. in March of 1836 came over with
his wife to Canada and down thru Pennsylvania, Ohio,
and to Indiana. He always said he did not want to be
traced by anyone. Maybe I can't find out but I'm trying.
Thanks again,
BKV

Not sure spellingis correct. So far have trace my fathers footsteps when he came to AUstralia with my mother Phoebe May Phillips 1949? I'm trying to trace my mothers/fathers journey and also find out if I have relations in Ireland.

Mary Kelly was one of the Kellys of Lower Moyny (Meenies), Drimoleague, and Paul Kingston was one of the many Kingstons from the same area. The familys are still in the same area.
The Baptism record for John is 22-July-1839, sponsors John Kelly and Mary Kingston.
The Baptism for Sam is 24-Sep-1836, sponsors John Kelly and Kate Kelly.
A Mary and Jane also in 1835 and 1841 resp.
