Am searching for information on the French naval vessels Victoire and Dromadaire. These ships are known to have transported soldiers and colonists to Louisiana in 1718 and 1720. Would like to find information on the size of the ships, where built, armament, where else they served, etc. I've come up with nothing on the internet, but I know this info is out there at least on some old ships. Any ideas on where to look would be much appreciated.
