I am searching for my birthmother (or any info on her, relatives, etc).

BM born in the summer of 1925 in a Mid-western state. Was of Irish & Cherokee Indian decent. Was told that her name was EDNA. Her mother died when she was 5 and she went to live and be raised by her maternal grandmother. Her father died when she was 11. BM did not know the cause of death on either parent. BM's great or great-great grandmother was full blood Cherokee Indian. BM live on a farm with her maternal grandmother. This was somewhere in Ohio near a large city, which one not known.

BM had long dark curly hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes and had a very good posture. She did not care for sports very much but loved to read and sew.

BM lived in Miami, FL from 1942 thru 1947. I was born in Nov. 1945 in Miami. Was named Gloria Jean Ebanks.

BM only had a 7th grade education so could not get a good paying job. She help positions of bar maid and waitress. Also babysitter,housekeeper and elevator operator.

I was told that EVANS was a family name. This may have been her grandmother last name????
