EVERY MESSAGE THAT I HAVE TRIED TO REPLY TO TODAY HAS HAD AN ERROR MESSAGE...I RAN A TEST TEST POST AT REED SURNAME AND IT WORKED BUT NONE OF THE REPLIES I TRIED TO POST HAVE SHOW UP. IN THE PAST I HAVE HAD THE ERROR MESSAGE ON OCCASION BUT THE REPLYS WERE ACTUALLY THERE....GRRR

I get this error when posting using FIREFOX browser, however
they say if you use INTERNET EXPLORER or IE it should
work ok.

Apparently still some bugs with FIREFOX.

I'm using Firefox.

This is a test regarding Firefox.

THIS IS A TEST and I failed. I think.

I tried to post yesterday: USING IE - after several attempts - I just gave up.
Part of my post from yesterday is now obsolete: I was saying "no problem posting - I just could not start a new thread".
That's what I like about this Board: everyday is a new experience.

When I could not start a new thread, I had to "highjack" an older one and paste my thread in there.
That's a way to do it. :)

"they want me to register again..." :

more than once, even though I am registered, they suddenly ask me to sign in, in order to post:
"welcome ABCD" .... and my post ends-up under one of my other IDs "WXYZ" !!!
Must be confusing to the people I answer to.

Besides that, I have learned one thing:

don't try to understand what is going wrong - what will be going wrong - why it is going wrong : try to work around it and don't expect any help from Ancestry: it is obvious that all of this is way too much over their head.

May or may not be true:

I think that I have problems posting if I preview my message.

If I post without previewing it seems to work right away.

May be a coincidence, but in the future, I will not preview message and see if it is where the problem is.
