I am looking for any information involving a prison escape from STATEVILLE PRISON in Joliet, IL on Oct. 9, 1942 by the Roger Touhy Gang. Seven convict's were involved Roger Touhy, Basil Banghart, Gene Lanthorne aka James O'Connor, St. Clair McInerey, Edward Darlak, William Stewart, Mathew or Martilick Nelson. And info about a prison inmate name Percy Campell. If anyone has any stories or information about any of these men I would be interested. My uncle was Gene lanthorne aka James O'Connor. Thanks.
