Does anyone have any idea where to find the records for the Western State Penitentiary near Pittsburgh for the time between 1890 and 1900? What sort of information is contained in the records? The actual court records (Fayette County, PA) appear to have been destroyed or lost and I'm hoping to find more info from prison records.
