Don't kick me out...I'm half Romnichel and half gorger. I'm proud of my Romnichel heritage...was raised in fear of the gorgers finding out who we were....or about someone puckerin someone somethin'. I always hear don't let em gin you're a Romnichel. And I heard "dotty" not sure how to spell... heard it so many times. Think it means something like Lordy....haha. Even though my family settled down in VA 42 years ago....it hasn't been forgotten. And oh the stories...I'm now sharing this with my son. He's the one who found this stuff on the web. Anyone want to share info...email me. I've heard the name Stanley....can't tell u much about them. My family traveled in Tennesse and Southern Virginia. Family names were Small and we're somehow related to Williams family. My family does asphalt paving. Gorgers around here can't figure out why all the paving companies are owned by Smalls. There were lots of Eddies, Benny's, Georges, Helens, Hazels, Lizzies, Fabies, Dicks, etc. in the family.
