I have located a descendants certificate for his admission into the Danish Brotherhood that lists the above information. He had a son born ~1884 in Iowa, George William Christiansen. I can't locate George on the census prior to 1910 with his parents and family. If anyone comes from the same line and has anymore information I would appreciate it.

Nelson's

I am searching for any relatives from my great grandfather's side of the family. His name is listed as Ferdinand Nelson born in Denmark around November 1860. He married Mary Smith (Averdson), who was born in Denmark, in Iowa County on 29 Jun 1882 and they lived in Benton County. Mary lists her mother's maiden name as Hanson.

I am not sure where Ferdinand lived prior to his marriage. The only other information I have is the Nelson's may have lived in Zeeland.

He may have been the son of Christ and Marn C. Nelson. Marn is buried in the international cemetery in Luzerne, Iowa.

In the 1880 Iowa census it lists Christ and Marn with grandchilden Petersen.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
