The Gille's in Quincy. Illinois

I have been researching my GILLE ancestors in Quincy, Adams CO, Illinois. I have not been able to find much information on my direct line. It starts with John Christopher GILLE who arrived to this country in 1847 from Germany.

I have noticed that there are still some GILLE's living there. I was wondering if they might be related to my ancestors.

Does anyone have any information on the GILLE family in Quincy?

Thank you so much!

I am trying to find out what happened to a certain german family between 1896 - 1900 in clay co., Il. Family story has that the mother could not afford to keep her children and had them "adopted out" because the father was "deported" out of Illinois.

what does this mean???

Thanks in advance,
Lily Furlow

Caspers Family from Germany

Looking for info about the Caspers family. James Caspers is listed in the 1880 census living as a boarder in Chicago. He was born in Germany in 1856, his parents were also born in Germany (Prussia). His parents could possibly be Anton and Sophie Caspers but this hasn't been documented yet. James moved to Washington Territory about 1883. He was married to Carrie Peickert and had a son named Lambert. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for info on Westfall's and Klingensmith's in Olney (or Noble), Richland Co, ILL. My gg grandpa Emery Elmer Westfall was b. 4/19/1873 in Olney and d. 10/5/1941 in Noble and was buried in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney. His stepfather was a Klingensmith. He married Clara Alice Steffy. I have lots of info on Steffy's and lots on Westfall's but am having trouble tying Emery into the Westfall Line. Emery was a police officer either before 1914 or after 1920 in ILL. Any info regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.
