While I had the LDS microfilm 1578067 (It. 1-4: Marriage banns 1883-1887 It. 5: Marriage banns and 1887 Marriages It. 6: Marriages 1887-1888) on loan to look up a marriage record for a distant cousin I copied several records of persons who were from the same Polish villages as my ancestors.

Marriage Banns - translated from Polish (to the best of my ability)

Franciszek GALUS, 26 year old young man, living in Chicago 1 year at Morgen street No. 7, son of Michał and Katarzyna nee LAKUS (should be FLAKUS), born in Łęki. Cannot read.

Tekla CICHON (CICHOŃ), 24 year old young woman, living in West Chicago ? months, daughter of Michał and Mary nee WIJAS, born in Lisia gora. Can read.
