Leander J. STUCHLIK
AURORA, Colo. - Leander J. Stuchlik, 90, of Aurora, Colo., died March 31 in Colorado. Stuchlik was born Feb. 23, 1913, to Anton and Catherine (Paseka) Stuchlik in Prague. He attended District 94 and graduated from Prague High School in 1931. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1942 to 1946 on the PT boats. He served on the same squadron with John F. Kennedy. In 1944 he married Phyllis Foley in Rhode Island. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a brother, Joe Stuchlik of Abie and a great-granddaughter, Sabrina. Mass of Christian Burial was held April 7 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Colo. Burial was at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo., with military honors.
