Interesting.... My wife (Doris Dunphy Dove) had a grandfather named Francis Xavier Dunphy who lived in Brooklyn for years, eventually married a Wilson, then moved to Hoboken. He was seriously injured and sent to a Manhattan hospital in Feb of 1914 where he died. He was buried in Jersey city.
My wife was born in Long Branch, NJ.
Seems as if there is no connection, but it is interesting since the first two names are fairly rare.
