Looking for information regarding the Ickes and Henry families. Mary Ickes, born 1791 (don't know death date) in Berwick Twnshp, Adams County, PA. She may have had a brother, George Ickes who, per 1850 Census, was a postmaster in Adams County and was 66 yrs. old at that time. Her father's name was Peter Ickes (born bef. 1770 in Berwick, PA and died in 1818 in Abbottstown, PA) and her mother was named Lydia (born bef. 1773). Lydia had the following brothers and sisters: Katherine, Dorothy, Betsey, Henry and George.

I am interested particularly in Peter's parents and siblings and in Lydia's family. Also, the birth dates of Mary's brothers and sisters. Any information on the Henry's appreciated, too. Mary Married Joseph R.Henry (b. abt. 1790 in Berwick Tnsp, PA and died 1869 in Abbotstown. They had 2 known children, Charlotte and Samuel. Samuel was born in 1828, was a reverend and served as a clergyman during the Battle of Gettysburg. He died in Kansas in 1869.
