Classification: Query
Surnames: Eggebrecht, Lucht, Bondie, Granzow
My name is Beth Bondie Metts. My gr.gr.gr. grandfather was George Eggebrecht b. around 1800 in Prussia. Was married to Mary Lucht.
His son was Carl Eggebrecht b.1830, also in Prussia. Carl was married to Fredreka Granzow.
They had six children. Their names are:
William b. 1857 in Prussia
Henry b. 1863 in Michigan
Bertha b.1865 in Michigan[This is my gr.grandmother who married Joseph Bondie]
Augusta b.1870 in Michigan
Charles b.1873 in Michigan
Lowesa b.1876 in Michigan.
I know they lived in Michigan, but the rest of Carl's family lived in Wisconsin. Carl is buried in Colby,Wisconsin.
Would love to hear from any Eggebrecht's ,that think we might be related.Did not know my father's family very well, and would like to meet them now. I guess you could say,"Better late than never. "
Thank-you for your time. Hope I hear back from any of my Eggebrecht cousins.
Thanks......Beth
