Firstly Courts/Coates is a very common name in England. Secondly I would suggest you need to check names and places. There is no such Earldom as Aerendale and I am pretty sure there is also no such place as Loch Mabean. A lot of time can be wasted if you are chasing after something which is actually a mispelling/inaccurate transcription or similar. Good luck.
