Surnames: Dafoe, Perry, Dean
So the Dafoe is the (one) Loyalist mentioned and not Perry or Dean? Last night I did find a brief bit of information on the lineage of Anson Amith Dafoe but nothing abut a connection to the Kings Rangers (it was only a brief ancestry of him on the Dafoe message board archives) In a way this confirms my feeling, after so many years, that my Dean family, whoever they were, was not a Loyalist family but for some unknown reason crossed over, from who knows where, shortly after the Rev. War. Thanks for this information; will share it with my Dean co-researcher. Appreciate the help very much.
