Thank you so much for your post. I check the green leaves and find questionable info all the time and disregard it. Just today I got one that showed the mother being only nine years old when her oldest child was born. I also see that on the LDS website too and just file the papers under "questionable."
Also, I see people list place of birth or death in the U.S. in the 1600's and early to mid 1700's as city,county, state, USA. Well, it really wasn't the USA at that time. It was America, an English colony. My brother and I were discussing the proper way to note that but weren't sure what to do so we just leave off any country. Any suggestions?
