My family is supportive of the family history research but sending out requests for information doesn't work very well. Have you tried a phone call?If you have your information handy, and have your questions ready you can get a lot of info in a 5- or 10-minute phone call.
I think some of the lack of response is because they think they need to fill out a form completely - when you may have a lot of information already or your questions may jog their memory.
