I have noticed several 2nd and 3rd generation
descendants marked as II and III i.e.: Tom R. Smith
(II) or Tom R. Smith (III). I don't like the Roman
numerals but don't know how else to mark them. How do
you recommend marking them? Should I enter (2) or (3)
into the Suffix or OtherName field? Often a father and
son will share the same exact name but neither will be
referred to as Jr. or Sr. I need to mark the names in
some way that makes it easy to distinguish the two
individuals. What do you recommend?
