Surnames: Brinegar
I hope you are still looking on these posts. My great grandfather was William Thomas Brinegar and he did take a train to Oregon, but my great grandmother did not like Oregon, so they came back to Missouri and later he took a wagon train to Texas where they settled. The rock house he and his sons built still stands and is a historical site in Texas.
