JOHN SENNETT

JOHN SENNETT OR SINNETT was supposed to have gone trading to Mexico from Missouri in 1841. After that no more has been heard from him again. Are there any good sources for traders with Mexico in the 1840's or perhaps who went on the trail and who was killed on it.

Best Regards

Grady Loy

Migration along the Santa Fe Trail

Migration along what later became the Santa Fe Trail (in 1821) was mostly by Native American tribal members. The Santa Fe Trail became a commercial link between the US in Missouri and Santa Fe, a city in northern Mexico, almost immediately after they had won independence from Spain.

Does anyone have migration information about who traveled the trail through Kansas and beyond before 1821?
