Maria H. Rother, 70, of Sedalia,MO died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, in Bocholt, Germany.
She was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Munsterburg, Germany, a daughter of Josef and Maria Weinert Mandel. On April 11, 1959, in Cole Camp, MO she was married to Herbert Joseph Rother, who died Oct. 10, 2005.
Mrs. Rother worked for Kim Originals for 20 years, before retiring from Tyson
Foods in 2004. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara A. Fain, and her husband, Ron, of Marshall;
her mother, of Merfeld, Germany; a sister, Erika Weissman, of Merfeld, Germany; and a grandson, Tristan Rother.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie
Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Bruce Campbell officiating. Burial was in Bocholt, Germany.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
