      <description>In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Wilson was a member of United Church of Christ, Farm Bureau State Women’s Committee, University of Missouri  Extension Council, Altrusa, Saddle Club, Quisenberry Community Club and was a 4-H Leader.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling and working at election polls. She worked as a telephone operator in Hartsburg, Missouri, and at Emmaus Home for adults and children before she married and  became a homemaker. She had lived in the Sedalia community since 1949.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mildred and Cloyce hosted several foreign exchange students in their home. She loved visiting with people and enjoyed life.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include her husband, Cloyce E. Wilson, of the home; two sons, Larry D. Wilson, and his wife, Rosie, of Sedalia, and Dr. Dale A. Wilson, and his wife, Cynthia, of Cookeville, Tenn.; a sister, Violet Bishop, of Amar, Texas; two brothers, Don Hilgedick, of Fayette , and Wayne Hilgedick, of Hartsburg; four grandchildren, Kristy Johnson, Karri Wilson, Bethany Wilson and Brooke Wilson; and three great grandchildren.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was predeceased by a brother, Virgil Hilgedick; and a sister, Helen Grantham.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at United Church of Christ, with Pastor Brady Abel officiating.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Pallbearers will be Gaylon Alfrey, Mike Burkhalter, Rick Johnson, Bill Mergen, Jay Cave and Steve Cain.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel. Her first teaching was at Quisenberry, a one-room school with all eight grades, in Pettis County. Then, she taught two years in Fremont, Nebraska, followed by 23 years at Washington Elementary School in Sedalia. She was  a lifetime member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Sedalia Music Club, Sedalia Garden Club, and PEO. She was a former member of Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are a son, Dan Muller, and his wife, Carol, of Parkville; a daughter,&lt;br&gt;Sara Bell, and her husband, Dan, of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Jane Grimm, of Cape&lt;br&gt;Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Brian Wilson, of Parkville, and Elizabeth Bell, of&lt;br&gt;Dallas. She was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine Stokes; and a brother, Richard Morgan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel,&lt;br&gt;with the Rev. Yvonne Marshall officiating.       <description>Mildred L. Scott, 94, of Sedalia, MO died Friday, May 26, 2006, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was born April 25, 1912, in Elk Falls, Kan., a daughter of Clarence Atwood and Alta Gail Deweese Ransom. On Oct. 20, 1958, in Sedalia,MO she was married to Samuel Conway Scott, who died Sept. 6, 1979.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Scott attended school in Elk Falls through eighth grade. She attended high&lt;br&gt;school in Longton, Winfield and Marion, Kansas, before graduating from Herrington,&lt;br&gt;Kansas. She worked in the shoe factory in Sweet Springs during World War II. Later,&lt;br&gt;she was the bookkeeper at Bing’s Supermarket. She lived in Hughesville for thirty-eight years, before moving to Sedalia in 1997.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was a member of First Christian Church, where she was involved in Women’s Christian Group 7 and the Fun and Fellowship group. She was also a member of Young at Heart in Hughesville. She enjoyed playing cards and reading.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are a stepson, Wiley Scott, and his wife, Carolyn, of Mahomet, Ill.; a&lt;br&gt;brother, Clifford Clarence Ransom, of Gardnerville, N.Y.; a step daughter-in-law,&lt;br&gt;Marcia Scott, of Albany; five step grandchildren, Carol Scott, Cheryl McClannahan,&lt;br&gt;Cynthia Reynolds, Diana Frisbie and Bryant Scott; 11 step great-grandchildren; one&lt;br&gt;step great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was predeceased by two stepsons, Bruce Scott and Sam Scott; two brothers, Paul Ransom and Melvin Ransom; and two sisters, Edith Florence Lindsey and Maxine May Lovelace.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. On April 11, 1959, in Cole Camp, MO she was married to Herbert Joseph Rother, who died Oct. 10, 2005.&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Rother worked for Kim Originals for 20 years, before retiring from Tyson&lt;br&gt;Foods in 2004. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers and spending time with her family.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are a daughter, Barbara A. He was also a 58 year member of  Sedalia Elks BPOE Lodge 125 and the Sedalia Country Club. He was recognized as Board Member Emeritus for outstanding service to T.P.A. Post -F. where he had been a member since October 3, 1944. Mr. Stanfield attended school in Sedalia and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1936. After graduation he became an optician with OK Optical until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Stanfield was an avid golfer and gardener.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include his wife, Ruby Stanfield, of the home; a son, Dr. Bernard M. Stanfield Jr., and his wife, Chantal, of Pinehurst, N.C.; two daughters, Brenda Stanfield, and her husband, Bernard Cuddy, of Cambridge, Mass., and Denise Prather, and her husband, Richard, of Lee’s Summit; a stepdaughter, Jo Riddle, of Lee’s Summit; a stepson, Raymond Dickey Jr., and his wife Elizabeth, of Everett, Wash.; three sisters, Betty Lou Dugan and Jean Berry Dick, both of Sedalia, and Mildred Grimmer, of St. Louis; 15 grandchildren, Ryan Stanfield, Amy Stanfield, Brent&lt;br&gt;Stanfield, Breigh Stanfield, Rachel Stanfield, Sean Stanfield, Sophie Stanfield, Sam Cuddy, Ben Cuddy, Meghan Riddle, Lauren Prather, Matt Prather, Ray Dickey III, Larry Dickey and Chris Dickey;16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Pierce; a brother, Kenneth Stanfield;,and an infant daughter.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Immanuel United Church of Christ with Pastor Brady Abel officiating. He lived in Sedalia most of his life.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include a son, Mike French and his wife, Cherylann, of Belfair, WA;&lt;br&gt;a granddaughter, Michelle Kane and three great grandchildren.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services  will be held at 1:30p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Heckart&lt;br&gt;Gillespie Funeral Home with Rev.       <description>MILLMONT - Wilbur Lewis Schreck Sr., 70, of 1260 Pleasant Grove Road, Millmont, for the past 32 years, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at his home. He was born June 20, 1933, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Roy and Eva (Weaver) Schreck. On Aug. 12, 1954, in Middleburg, he married the former Minnie E. Pursley.  Mr. Schreck attended Lewisburg High School. He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War, where he served honorably in the Chowan Valley for 18 months. Mr. Schreck was employed as a mechanic for the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 44 in Wilkes-Barre for 38 years until he retired in 1995. During this time, he traveled throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as he worked with heating, air conditioning and ventilation. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed doing repair work. Mr. Schreck was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen's Club.&lt;br&gt;He made crafts made of wood and copper and enjoyed reading, meeting people and telling stories. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wayne L. Schreck of Millmont and Shawn W. and Tammy M. Schreck of Weikert; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri L. and Tim L. Maxfield of Mifflinburg; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Frank Schreck of California, Larry Schreck of Sunbury and Guy and Patricia Schreck of Wyoming; six grandchildren, Eric W. of Millmont, Kristy L. of Lewisburg, Amber Jo of Millmont and Shawn M., Travis I. and Autumn M., all of Weikert; one brother-in-law, Robert Emery of Mifflinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was preceded in death by two sons, William Roy Schreck on Dec. 16, 1963, and Wilbur L. Schreck Jr. on March 5, 1993, and one sister, Virginia Emery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Friends and family may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where the service will follow at 11 with the Rev. Daniel H. Hicks, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mazeppa Union Cemetery, with military honors accorded by Lewisburg American Legion Post 182. She was born on October 30, 1919, in Hazelhurst, Georgia, daughter of Ivy and Lizzie Belle (McDonald) Wood. She moved here in 1970 from Ft. Lauderdale. She was a homemaker and was a member of Romeo Baptist Church. She spent her life caring for her family. Mrs. Waldron was preceded in death by her husband Walter Waldron in 2002. She is survived by: two sons, Don Waldron and Gary Waldron, both of Crystal River; two sisters, Ailene Johnson, Adel, GA and Maxine Wood, Ft. Lauderdale, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Viewing will be on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Upon retirement from the Army, he continued to work for the government and in 1992 moved to Spruce Creek South, Summerfield, FL. He was an avid golfer, a member of the Creakers Golf Assn. and VFW. Survivors include his wife, Loretta, brother Jerry, sisters Patricia, Jean and Brenda. Mr. Rozzell requested no services upon his departure. Burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. A native of Stoughton, Wisconsin, he was born on March 28, 1922 to the late Anton and Gaila Linn and came to Citrus County in 1975 from Ft. Lauderdale, later moving to Ocala in 1987. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone System as a Traffic Manager and served our country in the US Navy. Mr. Linn was very active in the First Lutheran Church of Inverness for many years, having chaired the building committee when the new sanctuary was constructed. After moving to Ocala, he joined the Redeemer Lutheran Church where he became an active member and committee person as well. He is survived by: one son, Alton A. Linn, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, one daughter, Debra Solomon of Tallahassee, one sister, Marjorie Martin, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Linn, on Dec. 10, 1998 and a sister, Gail Lansbury. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 10:30 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church of Ocala with Pastor Ron Mueller officiating. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carol J. Turner, two daughters; Carolyn M. Wade of Ocala and Terri L. Slider of Riverview, FL, one brother; J. Daniel Turner of Oneco, FL, three grandchildren; Rhonda Williams, Christopher Carter, Joshua Carter, and six great grandchildren.       <description>Ocala - Martin Frederick "Fred" Weber, 78, was born May 3, 1929, in Newburgh, NY, and moved in November 1989 from Fishkill, NY to Ocala, FL, where he passed away on November 3, 2007. A Master Industrial Electrician, Mr. Weber had been a member of IBEW, was in business for himself, did government contracting and private consulting work and retired from Engineering Service at Castle Point VAH, NY. During WWII he proudly served in the Pacific theater in the United States Army, in both the Artillery and the Military Police. Mr. Weber was an avid and accomplished outdoorsman and a collector of antique guns and historical documents of the American Revolution and Civil War eras. He was considered an expert in coins of the American Colonial period and was featured as an accomplished collector in the authoritative journal, "Coin World." He was also featured in the "American Rifleman" as a Civil War antique gun expert. His passions were his family, learning, reading, gardening, the outdoors and the history of the United States. An avid golfer, he made three "holes-in-one" at three different golf courses. He was gifted at working with his hands and could build and fix anything put before him. He was inventive and was particularly expert at electrical trouble-shooting and problem-solving. He was especially fond of classical music and encouraged his family in the Arts. Mr. Weber enjoyed traveling with his wife focusing on historical areas of our country. They also enjoyed visiting Italy, Austria, the Vatican, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Australia. He was a life member of the VFW as well as the NRA. Prior to moving to Florida he was a member of the Cornwall Continentals, Cornwall, NY, the National Camping and Hiking Association, Black Rock Fish and Game Club, American Fisherman's Association, Ducks Unlimited, Knights Templar F&amp;amp;AM, Fishkill Historical Society, Southern Dutchess Golf and Country Club and the First Presbyterian Church, Beacon, NY. Arriving in Florida, Mr. Weber continued to enjoy golfing, his historical interests and working around his house and yard. He continued his commitment to public service as a member of Kiwanis and was especially active in its "Meals on Wheels" program and volunteered at the Ocala Civic Theater building stage sets. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ocala, followed by Countryside Presbyterian Church in Ocala. He was a man of enormous dignity who was close to God throughout his life. With a sense of humor and compassion he was a wise man with a profound respect for others and a deep and abiding devotion to his family and country. For him, a handshake and his word were his bond. He is the son of Martin F. Weber and Amelia Sindik and was baptized at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Upon the death of his parents he was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Ray P. Fulton of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. He had a brother, Brother Thomas P. Weber, OMI and two sisters, Bertha Weber and Martha Reeves, all who pre-deceased Mr. Weber. Mr.Weber is survived by his wife of 35 years, Charlotte L. Rondeau Weber, a son, Martin F. Weber III and daughters Vice Admiral Ann E. Rondeau and Janis Rondeau Scherer (husband John) and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 3:00pm, at Countryside Presbyterian Church, 7768 SW Highway 200, Rev. Gary O. Marshall officiating, followed by a reception at the church. Internment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Countryside Presbyterian Church Pipe Organ Fund or Building Fund. She was born on January 12, 1950 in Ashland, Kentucky. She moved to Ocala in 1971 from Ashland, Kentucky. She work as a waitress. She was of the Baptist faith, loved knitting, crocheting and reading. She spent her life caring for her family. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Switzer of Ocala; son James Switzer, Jr. of Ocala: daughter Rebecca Switzer of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Gerald Stewart, Ashland, KY and Barry Stewart of Ocala; four sisters, Norma Bowling of Argillite, KY, Carol Engle of Ocala, Janice Crisp of Ocala and Regina Haase of Austinburg, OH; one granddaughter, Alexandra Switzer and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leola Whitt. The celebration of life, memorial services will be held today, Thursday, November 8, 2007at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME located at 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue in Dunnellon FL.       <description>&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ocala - Joey Leigh "Jake" McCandless, 77, passed away in Ocala, Fla., on November 5, after a long illness. Jake's commitment to athletics, in general, and football, in particular, was unwavering. He attended Princeton University from 1947-1951 where he formed an association with the football program that spanned four years as a player and 15 as a coach. After graduating from Princeton, Jake taught and coached football, first at the St. Mark's School in Southborough, Ma., and then at the Kent School in Connecticut. He returned to Princeton to coach football in 1958, and moved up to head coach in 1969. He replaced the single wing formation with the T-formation and went on to win a share of the Ivy League title in 1969. After his career at Princeton ended, Jake spent 10 years as vice president of Manufacturer's Hanover Trust in New York, and 10 as senior vice president of The Trust Company of the West in Los Angeles. He retired in 1994, and had been a resident of Ocala for eight years. Jake is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Sharon, his children Linda, Peter, and Susan, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church in Ocala on November 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Princeton University, c/o the Jake McCandless '51 Scholarship Fund, P.O.       <description>Ocala - Harry Edward Oram, 93, of Oak Run, was born November 7, 1914 in Phoenix, NY and died at his home on Rriday, May 9, 2008.&lt;br&gt;He served in the military from 1942 through 1967. He trained at Fort Sill and was sent to European Headquarters in London, England, serving under General Eisenhower upon graduation. When General Bradley's headquarters was formed, he was assigned to the 12th Army Group where he commanded the Group Interrogation Center. It was his responsibility to obtain high-level information by interrogating under-water swimmers, line crossers, and other enemy spies.&lt;br&gt;Mr Oram graduated from Oswego State University in 1935 and taught several years prior to military service. He received graduate degrees from New York University and studied at Syracuse University. While in the Army Reserve from 1959 to 1967, he taught in Army intelligence schools at Fort Rodman, Fort Dix, Governor's Island and Fort Meade. Following military service, he taught at Jordan-Elbridge Central and West Genesee Central schools near Syracuse, NY.&lt;br&gt;Mr Oram is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Tamara (Stephen) McCammon of Silverthorne, CO., Rhonda (Stanley) King of Cherry Valley, NY., and Sharman (William) Fitchett of Rhinebeck, NY; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and dear friend and companion of 34 years, Warner Malson.&lt;br&gt;There was a memorial service Monday, May 19, 2008 at Ocala West United Methodist Church. On Aug. 29, 1942, in Marshall,MO  she was married to&lt;br&gt;Daniel Henry Murray, who died June 19, 1974.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Murray was a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church, where she played&lt;br&gt;piano. She loved her church, church family and the Republican party. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was an election volunteer for many years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are two sons, Daniel L. Murray, and his wife, Linda, of Naples, Fla.,&lt;br&gt;and Robert F. On Jan. 25, 1952, in Kansas City,MO he was married to Lois Ernestine Bonell, who survives of the home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Lewis was an Army veteran of World War II. He was awarded a purple&lt;br&gt;heart. He and his wife moved to Sedalia MO in 1998. Prior to that he owned an auto&lt;br&gt;parts store in Paonia, Colorado. He was a Baptist.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are nine nieces and nephews, Russell Crane, of Boonville, Richard Crane, of Holt, Judy Maycock, of Kansas City, Ronald Crane, of Topeka,&lt;br&gt;Bob Lewis, of Independence, Connie Smith, of Golden, Cheryl Bordelon, of&lt;br&gt;Jacksonville, Fla., Randy Porter, of Blue Springs, and Gary Porter, of Lee’s Summit.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was predeceased by a brother, Meredith W.       <description>&lt;br&gt;In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Gary Eugene Cummings, 61, of Sedalia, MO died Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at his&lt;br&gt;home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born May 16, 1945, in Pettis County,MO a son of Kenneth and Beatrice Bowers Cummings. On August 2, 1968, in Pettis County,MO  he was married to Carolyn Berry, who died in October of 1998.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Cummings worked at Wilson Food’s Packing House for 21 years. He was a&lt;br&gt;member of the Coon Hunters Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 and&lt;br&gt;American Legion 642. He enjoyed selling antiques, going to auctions, coon hunting,&lt;br&gt;fishing and dancing.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a 1963 graduate of Cole Camp High School and served in the U.S. Army&lt;br&gt;during the Vietnam war from 1964 until 1967. He had lived in Pettis County all of his&lt;br&gt;life.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include two daughters, Becky Cummings, of Sedalia, and Pam Hayworth, and her husband, Steve, of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Jacob Hayworth, Cody Hanning and Laine Wilson; and a brother, Bob Cummings, and his wife, Sharon, of Sedalia.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The body was donated to science.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.</description>

      <description>&lt;br&gt;In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Donald Lee Streeter, 71, of Otterville,MO died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at his home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Sedalia, MO a son of Charles Samuel and Edna Marie Waller Streeter. On June 8, 1956, in Otterville,MO he was married to Mary Etta Page, who survives of the home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Streeter was a member of First Baptist Church of Otterville. He was a self-employed salesman, selling Amsoil and various other products through the years. He&lt;br&gt;also officiated various sports for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and watching races, especially World of Outlaws and Nascar.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are three daughters, Debbie Calder, and her husband, Brad, of Fulton, Connie Moore, and her husband, Rick, of Pilot Grove, and Dana Sewell, and her husband, Wayne, of Otterville; his stepmother, Virginia Streeter, of Sedalia; his brother, Robert Streeter, of Fenton; and six grandchildren, Joshua Boeck, Ethan Boeck, Aaron Moore, Sarah Moore, Brandon Sewell and Carter Sewell. He was predeceased by a brother, in infancy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Otterville, with the Rev. Ron Marsh, Jeffrey Page and the Rev. Dr. Jerry Brock officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Ellison, Stanley Potts and Jim Halgren. Private burial will be at sunset Sunday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church, where the family will receive&lt;br&gt;friends from 3 p.m. until service time Sunday.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Hospice or American&lt;br&gt;Heart Association.&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;br&gt;In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;Fred Brown Brummet, 100, of Sedalia, MO died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born June 9, 1906, in Sedalia,MO a son of Earl S. and Jessie Hardin Brummet. On April 5, 1927, in Sedalia,MO he was married to Ruby Hazel Scott, who died Feb. 19, 1990. On April 23, 1993, he was married to Jean Abelhouzen, who survives of the home.&lt;br&gt;Mr. Brummet was a founding member of Faith Baptist Church. He loved winning souls to Christ, shaking hands, and helping people to feel better about themselves. He was a wonderful, caring man.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As a boy he loved to hunt, fish, play and work hard. In school he was very active in baseball, football and debate. During the depression, he worked as a grocery clerk, then a firefighter, then went to work for the post office. During that time, he enlisted in the Navy to serve his country in World War II. After retiring from the post office, he worked for Keele’s Paint and Linoleum.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are a sister, June Parker, and her husband, Lee, of Sedalia; three granddaughters, Romona, Sheila and Pam; a sister-in-law, Ginny Abelhouzen, of Sedalia; and two brothers-in-law, John Swisher, of Sedalia, and Alan Abelhouzen, of Altadena, Calif.&lt;br&gt;He was predeceased by a son, William J. Brummet; a brother, Ed Brummet; and a sister, Mary Helen Swisher.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Gear officiating. Pallbearers will be Alan Abelhouzen, Floyd Self, Jim Talbert and Warren Berkstresser. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the boat with his nephew, Joe Young, and his wife. He loved to go to his lake home every year with his close friends, Dan Brown, Ray LeMaire and Lawrence Koukett. He enjoyed turkey and deer hunting with his grandson, Robbie. He enjoyed traveling to Texas two or three times a year to visit his sister, Lois, and her husband, Pete, and his nephew, Terry Reichel.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a member of Moose Lodge 1494 in Sedalia, and South Texas Trail Riders in Corpus Christi, Texas, for sixteen years. He had recently celebrated his 80th birthday with a surprise birthday party hosted by his niece, Jackie Allee.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are a son, Willis W. Young, and his wife, Leah, of Sedalia; three stepsons,&lt;br&gt;W.D. On March 20, 1981, in Hay Springs, Nebraska, she was married to Donald Edward Runyan, who survives of the home.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Runyan provided private home healthcare for many years. She was a part-time professional truck driver with her husband for 15 years. She enjoyed horseback riding and taking care of people. She was an excellent cook and had lived in the Sedalia area all of her life.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are two daughters, Jan Blackburn, and her husband, Paul, of Sedalia, and Shani Cooper-Rea, of Sedalia; her mother, Esther LaBille, of Sedalia; two brothers, Brad LaBille, of Sedalia, and Dennis LaBille, of Smithton; a sister, Barbara White, of Sedalia; and four grandchildren, Andrea Rea, Jake Blackburn, Connor Blackburn and Cooper Rea.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was predeceased by her father.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. She enjoyed cooking, reading, making quilts, making Christmas candy, reading and watching hummingbirds. She loved cats.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are a daughter, Sue Barr Parrish, and her husband, Dick, of Sedalia; a son, Robert J. She was a 1967 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She graduated from Central Missouri State University, and later University of Missouri- Columbia, gaining certification in elementary education.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She taught in elementary education for several years. She lived on a farm and raised cattle for a number of years. She was a member of Antioch Fellowship Church and State Fair Saddle Club. She enjoyed horseback riding, growing flowers and reading.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are her father and stepmother, Leland and Iola Harsch, of Smithton; a sister, Kathy Grandfield, and her husband, Rob, of Livermore, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews, Ryan Grandfield, Jillian Grandfield, Uriah Edwards Harsch, Ariel Brunner, Kaleah Harsch and Isaiah Harsch.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was predeceased by her mother, Jean Harsch; and a brother, Kenny Harsch.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 12, 2006, at Antioch Fellowship Church, with the Rev.       <description>&lt;br&gt;In Loving Memory&lt;br&gt;Raymond Walker, 84, of Nelson,MO died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot GroveMO.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Oelwein, Iowa, a son of Barnett Edward and Mary Catherine Simmons Walker. On Nov. 26, 1945, in Sedalia,MO he was married to Mabel Lee Cornine, who survives of the home.&lt;br&gt;Mr. Walker graduated from Hughesville High School in 1940. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy for six years, serving mostly in the South Pacific. After his discharge, he spent the rest of his life in Pettis County, doing carpentry and electrical work.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a member of Berea Christian Church in Nelson and American Legion Post 266 in Pilot Grove. He enjoyed fishing, reading, woodworking and playing harmonica and ukelele. He was especially devoted to his family.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Also surviving are a daughter, Dixie Rae Dart, and her husband, Bob, of Elizabethtown, Ill.; a sister, Helen Ulmer, of Sedalia; two brothers, Barnett Walker Jr., of Windsor, and Robert Walker, of Hughesville; a granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn May; and three great grandsons, Seth, Gabriel and Josey. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Lois Stevenson, of Sedalia, and Bertha Patterson, of Sherman, Texas.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev.
