Classification: Query
Surnames: Pryor, McLaughlin
My grandmother's grandparents came to Ohio from Berkley Co., Virginia/West Virginia and were married in Berkley Co. Virginia within census year of 1860. They are both buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, in Newark, Ohio and at one time only Catholic cemetery in Licking Co. that I knew of when I was a young child, although some older descendants of the couple above are buried in St. Joseph's. I am searching for marriage records and think if they located to Newark from another place and attended church in Newark at St. Francis de Sales-or Blessed Sacrament, some records would indicate where and when they married. Does anyone know how to research marriage records through the church records?
Surnames were Pryor-McLaughlin (Thomas Pryor md. Alice C. McLaughlin (or some form of spelling McLaughlin). Great-great-grandpa was a B&O railroader.
