Hello, I'd like to know whether Hezekiah Coburn of Connecticut was ever included in anybody's DAR application materials. Note that there was a different Hezekiah Coburn who was a soldier out of Massachusetts. He was a distant cousin of the one I'm seeking. They have sometimes been confused in notes of correspondents to whom I've written.
Here is the info I have:
Hezekiah Coburn, b. 15 April 1750 in Windham, CT, d. March 1834-April 1835 in Lewis, Essex Co., NY; m. Mary BILL 17 Jan 1771 in Windham Co., CT. Mary was b. 6 May 1750 in Lebanon, CT and d. 1820-1830 in NY.
Hezekiah resided in Windham Co., Connecticut during Revolutionary service. Later he lived in Williamstown, VT (from c. 1790-1805) and Lewis, Essex Co., NY (from 1805 on). He briefly moved to Orangeville, Genesee Co., NY about 1820. But he moved back to the town of Lewis before 1834.
Thanks for any help you can give.
Jerilyn
