Children who arrived on the Vancouver, April 1899

Surnames: Thomas, Connor, Salvage, Smith
I'm looking for information on the group of children who arrived in Saint John, NB in April 1899 on the ship Vancouver that sailed from Liverpool. The 6 children were James Thomas (16 yrs old), Fred Connor (17), Laura (11) and Rose (7) Salvage, Florance (9) and Alice (7) Smith. They travelled as "Mrs. Foskis party". "Foskis" is a guess looking at the passenger list, although I would doubt that it is right. I am thinking that they are home children, and would like to find out more information about the group that they travelled with. It is believed that Alice Smith is my GG Grandmother.

Thank you
Heather
