If you have the birth certificate, are there any other addresses on it, e.g. an address for the mother? In this part of London at this time there were many organisations that worked with unmarried mothers, e.g. Salvation Army, Church Army, Southwark Diocesan Association for Care of Friendless Girls... If there are any other addresses you know of, tell me, and I may be able to see it if it relates to one of these organisations. Good luck with your search.
