Is this true? Did the Congregational and Presbyterian churches (some of them?) join together in New England at some point?
I have read something that seems to elude to this from old history books but the texts are so vague and in the old ways of speaking, I'm not sure I'm interpreting this correctly. If they did, was this by any chance taking place in the mid to latter 1700's? Can anyone here help explain this better.
