From the Castlegar News. Paul Archie Koochin of Nakusp, BC. passed away at the Arrown Lakes Hospital on August 28, 2008. Paul was born in Cluny Alberta on Oct. 24, 1918. He host his parents a few months later and was raised by his grandparents who moved to the Castlegar area. Growing up, he worked on various farms in Alberta and later in the forest industry in the Castlegar area. He married Mary Tamelin of Pass Creek, BC in 1937 and they recently celebrated their 70th anniversary. Paul is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Mildred, son Ed, and 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Kathy and his grandson Dan. Funeral services for Paul were held at the Castlegar Funeral Chapel on Sept. 5, 2008
