Surnames: Stewart, Nauffts
I am looking for information about my father's uncle, Howard Stewart, born in Canada (probably Nova Scotia) around 1854. He lived in Chicago in 1900, Philadelphia in 1910, Brooklyn in 1920, and in Virginia, Maryland, and probably Boston in between. He was married to Annetta I. Nauffts. Does anyone know how I would begin to find out about which churches he was attached to? The identification of an Episcopal priest as an evangelist is unusual; does anyone know of a movement he might have been attached to given the time scheme and geography?
