HAWTIN Family: late 1800s+ London area, ENG
Has anyone come across the above name within the Huguenot histories please. My mother In Law has always been told from a child they decended from the Huguenot's, and I am trying to trace her family line for her. The line I am following at the moment is on her mothers side, Elsie Hilda Hawtin, Born 1905, her Father and Grandfather were both taylors from the camberwell area, (William Henry Hawtin Born approx 1881, and his father Robert Hawtin, Birth yet unknown. I am wondering if I am following the correct path.
