I wonder if anyone can help here? My Uncle had his Y-dna tested and it came back as a G5 with a large amount of Jewish background, my Uncle was adopted as a child and was once told he was 'just a little Jewish bastard!' a think he remembers to this day and he's now 79 years old.
My mtdna results are now in and give a group of H. I understand that there is no actualy dna group for Jewishness, but with a very sketchey knowledge about my maternal grandmother, it is possible that her background was in fact Jewish.
Are there others who have tested 'H', from their mtdna?
