<title>Question about family story of grandfather's Jewish bride</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/topics.religious.jewish.jewishholocaustresearch/1/mb.ashx</link>
<description>My mother is from Austria. The story goes like this, her father was first married to a Jewish girl. When the Nazis gained power and Jewish persecution began getting intense, he sent her off to eastern Austria, or another part of Eastern Europe to hide. He never saw her again.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Is this type of story was common in 1930s Europe?</description>
