On 11 Sep 1863 Henry William WALKEY & Mary MOSS were married by the rites of the LDS Church in Saltwater Creek, District of Patrick's Plains, NSW, Australia. The Officiating Minister as listed on the marriage certificate was William SHARP.

I'm interested in finding out how and when the above couple might have become involved with the LDS Church.

Both were Christened infancy in the Anglican Church -- Henry at the parish church in St. Helier, Jersey, and Mary at the parish church in Falbrook, NSW.

It's unknown when Henry might have gone to Australia, and so it's also unknown if he might have converted while still on Jersey or once he arrived in Australia.

Was there an established following on Jersey during this time period? When was the church established in this part of NSW?

Thanks kindly.

Cheers,
