Classification: Query
Surnames: WEINMANN
WEINMANN or WEINMAN or WIEMANN or WEYMAN or WEIMAN = some different spellings i have found....

Looking for Lutheran Records showing my gg and ggg grandfathers. I was told they were Lutheran and thus why my g grandfather is not buried in Most Holy Trinity Cem Bklyn with my g grandmother.

My gg grandfather was:
Charles Frederick WEINMANN b.4 May 1844 Wertenburg Germany and m.14 May, 1864 NYC and d.3 Apr 1879 at 7 Pitt St., NYC.

My ggg grandfather was:
William WEINMANN b.ca.1819 Germany and d.bet.1860 and 1870. He came to US ca.1840 and applied for Naturalization. He was a butcher. He m. Mary _?_ who was b.ca.1823 Wertenburg Germany.
I only have record they had: Charles b.1844 and William b.ca.1846. (Charles is my gg grandfather shown above.)

I found my ggg grandmother Mary as a widow on 1870 Census as Mary WEYMAN living with son Charles and her occupation shown as a lager beer saloon.

Anyone have access to Lutheran Records ca.1800's in NYC to look up my WEINMANN line.
Thank you, Happy Trails, Joan in rural MT
