A whole new enigma! I also had forgotten the OE combination entirely or the kopcke.
Sometimes I think that if I find ANY record, I will be lucky. It would also be nice if I knew if his name was just plain Henry or a Jr. Henry Peter William. My father himself didn't think he had a middle name, yet his sister had four forenames Catherine Meta Juliane Henrietta. I don't know if there was a pattern in naming in German culture when he was born or not, but it seems strange that the whole family had at least three and my father supposedly had one.
