Hi,
There are no Neufeldt's in my wifes line. It seems like most of the lines end in Russia. The Mennonites were there in the late 1700's. Before that, they were in Prussia, which I think became mostly Poland. I found this on the web---
"The oldest Census of Mennonites in Prussia was taken in 1776,
by order of King Frederick II the Great ("Old Fritz"),
and for most practical purposes it marks the barrier for most
family researchers which is difficult to overcome."
