My 4x G Grandfather George Rose (b c1793) is described in the Scotish 1841 census as a Minister. On his Son Obadiah's death certificate his occupation is a 'Clergyman for the Methodist Church'

I can't find him in the 1851 census, but his Son Obadiah is written as being born in Gibraltar. In 1841 the family are 'From foreign parts'

George Rose married Mary Wylie. Mary was born England

I'm asking if anyone knowns where to find information on clergyman? especially ones from Gibraltar

Thank You!

Joanne
