Hi Fred,
I am a relative of yours, I am sure. I am currently putting together our tree and came across your explanation of our name splintering. I heard of this before, but never had a real understanding of all the different cousins with last names of blood brothers! My grandfather Peter A Wren, migrated here when he was three. I don't know what his father's name is but I can assume it was either Andrew or Alexay. Have any idea if your grandfather is my great grandfather's brother, and if so, what the heck is his name??? My name is Hanya Wren Townes daughter to the late Pete Wren (and current) Elaine Wren. Any information on this would be so helpful, as I find that original documents for our family are a little sketchy on the details.
