Surnames: Parker, Gotcher, Polk, Johnson
J. R. Parker, John H. Gotcher, R.F. Polk, and T. G. Johnson signed an ordination for a "brother" to preach the gospel. Were these men Primitive Baptists? Would a Primitive Baptist have used the word "presbytery?"
